Physical Therapy First demonstration of bench dips (beginner)

Starting Position: Sit on the edge of a sturdy bench or chair with your hands placed shoulder-width apart on the edge, fingers pointing forward. Keep your feet flat on the ground with your knees bent at over 90 degrees. Engage your core and keep your chest lifted.

Movement: Slide your hips off the bench, supporting your weight with your arms. Slowly lower your body by bending your elbows until they reach about a 90-degree angle, keeping your back close to the bench. Push through your palms to straighten your arms and return to the starting position.

Repeat as prescribed by your therapist or trainer, ensuring controlled movement and avoiding locking your elbows at the top.
