1️⃣ Grip the edge of the bench — not the top or center.
2️⃣ Hands should be shoulder-width or slightly wider. Avoid placing them too far apart.
3️⃣ Keep your body close to the bench throughout the entire movement to reduce shoulder stress.
4️⃣ Pull your shoulders down (unhunch them).
5️⃣ Tuck your elbows in as much as is comfortable — don’t let them flare out too wide.
