8-Week MAX the AFT program:
One of the best methods to increasing how long you can hold a plank is to work through failure. Set a time goal you’re shooting for. Start the time, hold the plank until you can’t anymore, take a breath or two, and get back to the plank position. Do that until you hit the end of your time goal.
✅ Train doing that 2-3x a week, and your hold time will extend!
But you can do much more to improve your plank time than just doing planks every day… that’s boring and kinda sucks anyway…
